The King’s Warriors Soccer Club D1 team put on a clinic Saturday, January 4, with an 11-3 win over a very scrappy Pikeview team. The Warriors opened with probably their quickest goal ever when Eli Blevins struck with only 6 seconds gone from the clock. Pikeview came back quickly to tie the score. After trading goals once more, the King’s Warriors took control. When the dust settled, Caleb Okes had scored 6 goals, Eli Blevins 3, and Chance Blevins and Isaac Beckett added 1 each. Andrew Smith covered the back, while Aaron Smith was solid in goal. Jonah Blevins provided great support.
The “little” Warriors showed great improvement in a 6-1 loss to a very good 3rd-5th grade Embers team. Andrew Helmick scored.
All three King’s Warriors teams will be back in action January 11.
